I am so glad you’re here. Let me tell you about myself!
I am originally from South Florida (Boca Raton), where I met my high-school sweetheart, now husband, Quinn, in high school. We both attended the University of Florida where we received our undergraduate degrees. I received my Bachelors in Nursing and Quinn received his in microbiology (pre-med). After we both graduated from UF, we moved to New York City where Quinn began medical school at New York University (NYU Langone Medical Center). I started my nursing career working as a bedside nurse in adult medical/surgical care. After suffering significant burnout as a COVID-19 nurse working night shift, I transitioned to outpatient nursing where I worked in GI-Endoscopy and finally transitioned into Integrative Medicine as an intravenous infusion nurse. After Quinn finished medical school, we moved to Durham, North Carolina for him to start medical residency at Duke Health on his journey to becoming a Radiologist.
Through my own health journey, I’ve always had a special place in my heart for helping other people— particularly those who identify as women. My goal in partnering with women to improve their lives has taken a path rather less traveled. I will be going back to school in the fall of 2024 at Duke University to pursue my Masters in Nursing where I study to be a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)! My goal is to a integrative medicine (combining traditional Western medicine with holistic complementary approaches) Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
You must be asking, “Heather, What in the world does ANY of this information have to do with color analysis???”
Well, my approach to understanding women’s health is a unique one and one with holistic roots. I believe health transformation starts with the energy of feeling worthy of the transformation you desire in the first place.
For so much of my early adult life, I felt disempowered, stuck, and disconnected from my true authentic self. As a girl with natural medium-dark cool brown hair, I was taught messaging from a young age that blondes have more fun and get noticed more often. I started dying my hair in middle school. the bright warm blonde brought disharmony to my naturally soft, cool features. I often left the hair salon feeling like I looked sick (this is what happens when you pair cool tones and warm tones together— they appear even more separate, causing sallowness of skin and dull eyes). To keep up with my bright blonde hair and the performative people-pleasing that went with it, I needed warm peachy makeup to match. This led me to feel like I couldn’t even leave the house without a full face of makeup and a fake/self-tan.
Since undergoing my own transformation using the science of color theory and analysis, I can’t put into words how much more radiate and connected to my true self and gifts that I feel. I feel like I came home to myself. I became fascinated with the process and realized my intuitive gift for understanding color harmony. This led me to enroll in and complete a color analysis training and certification course through the International Image Institute which uses the 16-palette color system.
My goal and process are to assess your energy aura (your personality, lived experiences, passions, mission, dreams, soul purpose— the essence of who you are and divinely created to be) and bring your external appearance into harmony with your aura. I hope that you walk away from color analysis feeling more connected to your divine, true, authentic beauty so that you can go into the world and resonate at the frequency of abundance, love, joy, peace, and happiness that you innately and ALWAYS deserved.
Because you absolutely deserve to feel your most beautiful self: to look in the mirror and see love instead of loathing, to turn heads, to get their number, to be promoted, to start the business, to magnetize each and every good thing that was made for you!
Hi, I’m Heather!
